Well like everyone else Ima take that jump back to kawi.....

I been looking at a lot of different 636's and kinda wondered for the guys that have been or might just know.

Are there any specific up/downs of certain year 636's? i mean are there benefits to getting 03/04 vice 05/06?

personally i think the 03-04 is easier to find parts for.. especially stunt parts. If ya break somethin its easy to find what ya need. i liked mine.

another thing i didnt throw out there that ya prolly already know is that 03-04 is a less expensive bike compared to the 05-06

if you can get 03-4 636,then get it and swap swingarm from 05-6 on that 03-4 and you have a ******* beast.

03/04 front ends have problems - ive seen 2 snap in front of me..

thats just some input of a person who doesnt own one! figured it try to help and not tell you to use the search button that doesnt work for ****

Yeah 03 04 forks suck but its a easy swap just buy 05 06 forks and rotors and you are set.

down fall with the 05/06 is the subframe is weak. also two peice tank on 05/06 i believe. a hybrid mix of 03/04 and 05/06 or even front end off a 07/08 would be a sweet bike.

ive seen a few 03s with a newer front end and brakes and swingarm that seems to me to be a good set up there.

I like my 03-04 Get what ever you find the best deal on... Swaping the forks is not that big of a deal The swing amr kinda is but you do not HAVE to do that..

had the 04 just got the 06 and i love it..............would never go back...things a horse on idle......barely needs gearing

03/04 are tiny.
but you could buy an 03 04
put a 05+ front end
05+ swingarm/shock
05+ wheels/rotors

and then it would be alright.

so wotz the difference between the b1h and teh c1/c2h forks...wot makes them better...
