Earphones/Headphones

What are you using and why? I am sick of them being uncomfortable, falling out when putting on my helmet, and finally breaking whatever I buy. Thanks.

edit: I've looking at the skullcandy and shure earphones - anyone have experience with those?

Re: Earphones/Headphones

I have a pair of skull candy earbuds....they fall out when i ride, sound quality is awesome and it goes up loud enough.

I have a feeling your not gonna find anything that wont fall out though

You could get custom and just hot glue some speakers in your ear hole of the helmet haha.

I dont ride with music anymore though cause i end up rocking out to it and not paying attention haha

Re: Earphones/Headphones

I tried a few different types of ear buds and they all fell out, I dont understand why no one makes a earbud that ******* doesn't just fall out

Then my friend gave me the 'rubbers' to his 'jabra' headset...

I fitted them to a $3 set of earbuds, and they lock in my ear, and never fall out

I don't know where you can purchase the rubber part.. But he gave me a bag with 3 different sizes.. He got the head set free with a phone on ebay for $12

Re: Earphones/Headphones

LOL found a lot of 5 of them for $4.99 on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/5-EACH-Jabra-Hea...3%3A1|294%3A50

edit: $7 shipped
http://cgi.ebay.com/3-Pairs-of-NEW-J...3%3A1|294%3A50

That's what worked for me.. Stick on pretty much any cheap set of ear buds, and choose the size that fits you best

i like those. they dont fall out unless i pull on the cord(but what else are they going to do). i think the sound quality is great. not the best bass, but better than any other earbud i have listened to. and the little rubber pieces that you can switch out work really great for me since i have little ears. i cant wear ipod headphones for much more than 30 mins before they hurt pretty bad.

Re: Earphones/Headphones

Sony MDR-AS50G. These won't work well in a helmet, but rule more than any earphone I have ever owned.

First of all, they are in-ear, which is way better than the earphones that just sit on the entrance of your ear canal.

Second, they will never ever, ever, ever, ever, fall out of your ears.

And third, the wire divides at 16 inches in length which is PERFECT if you have an armband. It reaches your armband, lets you move around, and wire is never in the way. I think its stupid having excess wiring hanging around all over the place.

This set is perfect.

I took the speakers out of this ipod dock and stuffed the speakers into the openings by the ears in my helmet. The speakers stay with the helmet and I can hear over the exhaust still.
