Why Is My Bike Wobbling When I Do Standups

It Starts To Wobble When I Keep It Up For A While And The Wobble Just Keeps Getting Worse And Worse... Anyone Know Why??

axle nut tight?
is the chain adjusted properly (with both sides the same)?
is the tire completely flat?

These are the problems I would look at first... tire between like 16 and 35 psi... all by preferance

I would look at your right hand. Wobbles are caused by throttle chopping 90% of the time.

are you throttle jockying it? be smooth on the throttle! if your on offing it, the bike will keep "wobbling". use your rear brake to control the height of the wheelie and lock your throttle hand in place.

Re: Why Is My Bike Wobbling When I Do Standups

high tire pressure will make slow wheelies wobble and low tire pressure will make fast wheelies wobble until you have good control then it doesn't matter much and as far as your back brake goes , you only need to use your back brake on slow wheelies or if you just dip back too far for your engine brake to save you ..

if you hold your throttle and use your rear brake to adjust the height of the wheelie when you are going fast you run the risk of over heating your brake and then it wont be there if you need it ....

smooth throttle control makes for a non wobbly wheelie...

I guess i should have asked if he was rocking slow wheelies or if hes still pow powing . if you prep your bike you shouldnt have a problem with brake fade.. ie...braided lines and dot 4 fluid will help that situation. but if your power wheeling and using the brake you will make the rotor glow and all kind of **** can happen.

There will be no 40 mph in my lot unless you wish to go through the fence or under a dumpster.
