Re: sprockets

Your factory is 16/43 and as everyone says you don't need gearing to stunt. But if you want something to start off with if you NEED it I'd say go at least -1/+3.

why dont you stop being a lazy **** and go look at your bike and get a 74 tooth that will make you progress very fast.

I understand getting more teeth for the rear sprocket but how does subtracting teeth help from the front sprocket?

when you go down in the front one tooth thats like going up 3 in the back, so the benefits of it would be to get a bigger gear change without having to replace your chain or get a bigger more expensive one

-1/+3 is roughly the same as +5 in the back

not gonna happen bro, i'd say anything bigger than 48 in the rear and you'll have to get a bigger chain. but you can keep going down in the front. 14/48 will put you at 3.42, where as 16/60 would have you at 3.75

actually doing the math does help, lol. it's how you figure out your acceleration and ratios bro.......

stock: 43/16= 2.68

stunt: 60/16= 3.75

see, math is good for something

i doubt hes going to know what those numbers mean or what they are relative to, he doesnt really understand gearing from the sounds of it
