SSB does it again...

just got home from school to find the new issue on my table. thanks again for nothing. the entire issue contains 4, (5 if you count the 3 incher by the dragger blasting off the line) photos of a rider doing a wheelie
((2 of which are terri on teach's bike. (no offense terri i still love you.:YEAH) one of which is an old photo of evel )

oh yeah, there's a photo of teach on his new BMW doin a stoppie. Thanks for the continued support for the stunt community, considering the one real stunt in the mag doesn't even list the rider's name and accompanies an article about stunters getting f*cked.

you'd think with the mainstream ad dollars (ROYAL BLUNTS??) they could afford to print another page with a couple wheelies on it, since this is why most of us subscribe anyway....

When my subscription expires in september, i will feel no remorse.

SHAME ON YOU SSB!

Re: SSB does it again...

Yeah, but I hear what he's saying. Super Street Bike was built on us stunt riders and was supposed to be geared towards stunt riding and then everything else. I was there for the first issue and talked to Mike Seate as well as the photographer and that was their schpiel to us and now here we are years later and only a few pics. I hear ya bro, just not sure what bitchin about it will do. I thought it would change when Big Dave became the new editor...

Re: SSB does it again...

this is true, but i know a large amount of people like myself have subscribed to this magazine for only one reason, the display of stunts on a regular basis. since they've all but completely abandonded this pursuit, i in turn am abandoning them. I used to be so excited for the new issue too. it's a sad day when i can count more pics of the eds than of stunt riding...

Oh what, you don't like seeing Dave's face on every other page? I have no qualms, they covered every event from september-december includong a street ride that regardless of size, is illegal in every way. You guys can thank John Zamora for pushing that article to get written and printed. I had a lot of fun writing it too. Since Stuntoberfest, there hasn't been much going on with anyone, besides Teach who is learning how to ride his new bicycle in the warm CALI weather. They were there at stuntwars too, as a major sponsor and media coverage. Remember, its winter, everyone is hurting for stories. At least John Zamora tries his best to get you guys in the magazine, I know that for a fact. He is the ****.

fact: street monsters stock just dropped do to getting a roundhouse kick from chuck norris for saying they kick ***! x2

brit has a good point, not much to cover throughout the winter, sorry but people dont want to read about how you are in your freezing garage dropping your motor to go powdercoat your frame. its about the rides, comps, races, events, sponsors, riders, advertising, and the **** that makes the dollars. if it dont make money it dont make sense! be patient young squire in time the stunt world will take over, there will be no off season......
