ups pretty much scams us hard over here were they charge a rediculous amount for us to pick it up then a month later u receive a bill in the mail which is like double!!!!

example i odered a cage n stuff from SI a while back (totaling around 300$) and had pay like 80$ to go pick it up, did that then 1 month later received brokrage fee's or something like that with a cool name about it, and that was 120$...........this has happened to a few others!!!! i just ordered a round bar for SI and they wanted 60$ for me to pick something up thats worth 100$ and later charge me double with a bill in the mail which would cost me more then the product hahaha NO THANKS so called ian explained to him wats up i sent it back, same now with HAI and there sending it back USPS!!!!!! To avoid this happening to U please send USPS to canada from now on!!!! and if possible, as a gift but i never was over charged with USPS so im fine with them!!!

i have always used usps never ups to ship my OMR SUBCAGES and so far no one in canada has had to pay any extra fees but i send them in an un marked box ......

Yea man, i work at the helmet shop in florida and thats the way we send anything to canada anymore is with usps to save you money. your exactly right but its not caues of ups its cause canadian customs charge ups and they dont want to be charged for it so they charge you..=\

happened to me too with my warped toys order, i had to pay almost 200 bux when it got there, then i got a bill in the mail for 50 bux?!?! rip offffffff!!!

It is actually UPS's fault, because the base their brokerage fee on the value of the package....That should be illegal but what are you gonna do sue UPS Brokerage fees are just for some numb nut to do the paperwork....How the **** can you charge someone up to $200 for brokerage, I get **** here at work worth $20,000 and my personal brokers fee is like $50 for that...

USPS which turns over to Canadapost when it hits Canada only charges a flat rate brokerage fee of $5 for small packages and 10$ for large packages...

Ive had UPS charge me up to $200 just for brokerage! Ive even had them charge me $50 brokerage for something that was only worth $50...Or how about getting 2 packages from the same ****** place shipped at the same time(example bodywork set from Ebay that had to be shipped in 2 boxs) and they charge me $150 brokerage on each package.....How the **** does that work! I could ******* kill someone at UPS for all the moeny theyve STOLE from me....

Bottom line when it comes to shipping to Canada from the US, UPS are crooks....You can request for them to hold it and have your own broker clear your packages, but then your looking at a few days more waiting at the least....

I work for them and still ship most of the parts I sell through USPS. I only ship frames and plastics through UPS.

i always send stasis shoes to canada as a sponsor sample...so there is no commercial value to the item.... and that way you guys dont have to pay...and i always you usps.... sorry they raped you like that bro

UPS's "brokerage fees" are supposedly due to a 3rd party paying the GST/PST charges when the item crosses the border, so they charge a fee on top of those taxes... but from what I know UPS owns the 3rd party brokerage company that they use up here... so they are actually ******* us over for more $ just cuz they can. Fedex does similar, but they just send you a bill a few weeks later in the mail, so at least you are happy when they give you the package without asking for $ on the spot

Although if you do pay the "brokerage fee" and they give you the package, and you get a bill in the mail for more straight up tell them to go **** themselves, be very mad on the phone, bla, bla, bla. I've done that a few times and they always drop the charge.

As for using them to ship, only for boxex too big for USPS/Canada post... frames, bodywork, or nice rims... always declere as a gift with little or no value!

All my International Orders get shipped USPS. Its the only way to go haha. the only problem with Priority International is that once it leaves the states its hard to track.
