636 or SM.

My minty 636 might be totalled out after last week.

Should I buy it back from the insurance company and streetfighter it and rock it as a stunt bike or buy it back from the insurance company, throw a mirror and new rearset on it and flip it and buy a SM?

Re: 636 or SM.

05, so far plans are to sell the fairings off it, throw an acerbis on it, cage, 12 bar, modify another stock exhaust so it exits down instead of into a bar, sprockets, GPR, hand brake. Does the 636 need an oil pickup or are they good stock?

Re: 636 or SM.

you dont need oil pick up , aslong you see a glasses on the oil that fills up then yer all good to go.

are you actually ready for handbrake & steering dampner ?

What i suggest you to do is get SI crash cage & round bar ( but you dont need round bar cuz it got pipe in the middle so it is kinda same as round bar ) personally i d def put there. get like 54-55 rear tooth.

first thing do the kleen mods....it ll takes you 10-15 minutes to finish the job.

Re: 636 or SM.

pretty sure I'm ready for the handbrake and dampner, I was rocking a 954 -1 / +17 with cage and 12 bar till I blew it up and had some more bad luck and ended up selling it for cheep. You sure about the round bar? I was gonna go flat bar and re-route the exhaust so it exited down toward the tire, I already have a spare stock can laying around to modify since I bought a spare so I could take one apart and straight pipe it then weld it back together.
