brings up a good point.. What kinda gearing are you running on your 636. It looked like wheeliest is running around a 55t.

I'm sure there are hundreds of riders that can kill spreaders w/o a handbrake.. But it takes a world wide forum on the internet to know that. I am still very new to the stunt scene.

Re: +SPREADERS+ handbrake or no handbrake?

Personally i'd say learn them with no hand brake

learn them tell you can do them at balance point on flat ground forever..

Then get a hand brake, and slow em down and get sick with it :YEAH

Re: +SPREADERS+ handbrake or no handbrake?

Why do you guys suggest learning w/out a HB? Just for throttle control?

I think it would be harder to have good throttle control if you learn it with the brake
I learned mine without the brake, it took me a while to get them good, but now I can go miles without a hand brake on spreaders/hc's

But now I have a hand brake, and thats definitely the only way to go for slow ****..
But I still rock my highway combo's without using the hand brake.. I don't need it at 40mph+ with stock gearing

but what do I know, I still suck on my f4i....

pretty much it helps, plus then if u get on bike w/o one or your breaks at a show or sumthing u can still ride.....i cant even count the amount of people out there who wont do anything off the pegs unless they have a sick working hb......also people who learn with a hb tend to try to use it like the reg brake when learning and do there **** all slow, and choppy........and when u go that slow on spreaders its hard to get good extension on ur legs and it looks like garbage....im not saying for everyone but for most.......its def way safer to learn w/ a hb, but a lil bit more fun and i think beneficial to learn w.o one

Re: +SPREADERS+ handbrake or no handbrake?

Good ****.. I just picture someone who can barely use the rear brake trying to do spreaders w/out the HB. Makes me nervous.

Sick pics BTW.
