3rd gear bounce.
Just learned 3rd gear wheelies two days ago.:YEAH
I forgot what speed I as pulling them up at, I think about 80. Road a couple to about 115 but I usually get a little unstable around 100 so I'm not really doing a lot of third gear yet.
Still don't have my balance point on lock yet, but getting close. I'm going to post some pics up as soon as I get someone to take them for me.
Can't clutch any gear but 1st.

Yeah, thats what gear I've been practising in. I just wanted to see if I could get third up and and ride a wheelie at over 100. Feels good, now I'm back to working on my b/p in 2nd.

Re: 3rd gear bounce.
what is your tire pressure at? to much pressure wil make you wobble like that. i dont know how you are with the 2nd gear weelies and the balance point but you might consider bringing it up in 2nd and shifting in 3rd. practise going from 1st to 2nd at a slower speed if you have not done it before

Re: 3rd gear bounce.
I run my tire pressure a little higher than most stunters because I also love to take corners. I'm running about 32 psi right now, but I have had it as low as 25psi. I've tried some shifting into third from second but I can't get my foot under the shift lever right. I also have heard that its bad to clutchless shift the 929.
I have heard that its better to have a higher tire pressure for high speed wheelies and a low pressure for slow wheelies. But I have heard many different opinions.
Oh ya, if I get my balance point down every time then I wont need to worry about shifting.

Do you mean try in a lower gear?

Re: 3rd gear bounce.
i was wonderin if anyone was going to tell this kid to slow the F down and learn how to ride CLUTCHED 2nd gears using brake and throttle control before being a damn squid and powering them up in 3rd. power wheelie=you're a p*ssy. i hate riding with people that do them. just like stock05 said, put your bike in 1st, remove the shifter and find your BP going 10-15 mph. it will hurt less when you fall. cuz i bet you will. we all do.
