Yeah, you weren't too hard on me,. I listened to everyone and now I'm not doing too bad.
If it weren't for this site I'd still be doing power wheelies. I had 0 people to ride with and learn from when I first started.

Re: 3rd gear bounce.
So I don't know how many times I have told people on this site the same thing. I know you will have to learn on your own though. Just think about how bad it is to wreck at 100, then throw in the possibility that you are going to blast a light pole on the side of the road even though they are 100 yards apart from each other, then consider the fact that your leg may get pinned between the bike and the pole and you wake up a week later weighing 20lbs less than you did and its not from dieting (well eating through a tube for a week could be considered a diet!!!! hahaha). But I'm better now than I ever was and its also more impressive that I do it with one leg. So suite yourself homie!

Re: 3rd gear bounce.
I learned to ride wheelies hangin out with a bunch of knee draggers... bangin it off the rev limiter to clutch it up in 3rd at 68 mph... front peg stand ups no rear brake and just below bp so when you set it down your doin just over 80... it was fun and i cant even make my self do it like that anymore if i try
NOTE: i burned up 2 set of clutches in less thank 5k miles

Re: 3rd gear bounce.
APfire26 where in FLA do you live??? i am just south of melbourne. hell i used to do wheelies on I-95 in 3rd and 4th pull it up at about 70ish and not put it down till about 140. not fun. the last one i did i came down and got a nasty tank slapper. i had 3 buddies behind me and they thought i was gonna eat it hard.. to top it off i ran out of gas after i saved it. LOL but then i got a 60 rear and put a cage on the bike. i say f*** it and clutch first, cover the brake, and find a parking lot. 2nds aren't good to find the balance point. trust me on that. but hell hit me up if you wanna ride. i ride with a couple guys that could teach you some stuff.

Yeah, its late, i'm a little slow! I really should have thought of that! In my defense though there are quite a few that have pictures of someone else in their avatar and pose like its them!
