yeah prob a good idea, I always check the cable up top because I know the raptors can cause them to fray a little quicker - but this fukcer snapped at the bottom

reving the **** out of one about 100 - 150 feet into it - probably still doing about 40 mph and the cable snapped .... I felt it go and tried to kick the bike. Some of the guys think my left leg got caught underneath, but I don't remember that happening. I ended up sliding on my left knee and arm for probably 50 feet then came up running ... I'm cool for the most part ... no real damage to the bike ... good learning experience haha

one time i was dirtbike riding and my cable snapped it was like a 45 minute ride home from where i was at to my house omg i revved my 125 and kicked it into 1st gear after a few stalls i pinned it out in nuetral and it took off. it was a tight trail so to keep it from stalig was a pain but i eventually did it.

for future reference: if you push the bike just enough to get it rolling, you can get it into first without that happening
