I was just wondering if anybody listens to music while they are riding?
And if so how?
And what kind of music?

I have buddies that do while stunting, however I use ear plugs when I ride because of wind noise.
I like to hear whats going on around me even if its muffled a bit.

Yup.... I listen to everything.... But kinda like country for the lot... I have no clue why. But my favorite sounds is accompanied by disco lights. Red and Blue ones... The sound fades into the distance quickly though : (

ipod with skully? earbuds... seem to work best for in the helmet.

i used an ipod once while riding, i got caught in a bad storm and that was the end of the ipod.... i like hearing the bike anyway

+1 I got the skully/skullcandy earbuds and theyre the ****. My last earphones hurt my ears I usually come out and warm up for a bit and then put on the ipod. Hip Hop kid.

I cracked the screen of my ipod a few weeks ago on a big drop. You cant see **** on the screen at all Can apple fix the screen? Right now its on shuffle and I cant change **** coz I cant see anything

You can buy replacement screens, but depending on what ipod you have its probably more money than its worth, theyre actually not too hard to replace yourself. i love rockin the pod, i had some sony budds that also wrapped around my ears, had the best luck with those staying in. my pod is cracked too, i just learned to listen to the clicks to find music, works fine for me.

i've tried the ipod. Like it for long road trips ( i ride 3-4hrs away sometimes on my minty ) Sucks when it gets stuck on something like a comedy act or something you downloaded and you dont wanna stop to change the ipod to skip the track... :


On another note, I hate when everyone puts a soundtrack to their riding videos here... Is it necessary to have the same tracks on everyones riding vids? Can we just hear the bikes from time to time...? haha

Ipod shuffle is the **** for rideing cuz its only got 5 buttons so you dont even haf2 look at it to change tracks
