Ronnie from DV8, has a whole 954 front end on his 900. I would hit him up for the details.

I know that a couple of guys from C6 have 929 fronts on 900s. It seems to be a staight foward swap. The 929 brakes are the bomb!

TEACH C6 will become famous soon enough
it works good, changes the geometry of the bike though...it wont handle as neutral on the street as the original forks, it tends to understeer a bit because the fork tubes are shorter...better suspension and brakes no doubt though....i have it on my bike and i like it alot because the suspension is not as harsh and it makes a few tricks a bit easier...however, it kinda sucks on the streets and the twisties....instead of countersteering into the corner and teh bike holding hte line, you have to have constant pressure on the bars to keep it at lean angle...

hows that?

the 954 front end bolts right up. all you gotta do is run the 954 lower head bearings in the 900 frame. My boy jim just did it. Complete swap.

929 front

i have been running a 929 front end on my 98 rr for over a year now and i agree with everything teach said. Im not much of a twisties guy anyway so i like it. It bolts right up stem and everything just be careful not to strip the threads on the stem they are pretty weak if there is any dirt on there. it is nice for coming down hard off 12s, it doesnt bottom as hard and the 17 inch front wheel is easy to find good used tires for. good luck

ive had the 929 front end on my bike for about 6 months now- it FOOKIN ROCKS- all I did was lower the forks in my triple tree about 1 inch cuz it make the bike tall as hell, but now i love it- i even got a Hyperpro steering stabilizer to fit on there- wouldnt change it for the world- I also had to get an F4I back wheel just to complete the pimp look

well I would've gotten the nastiest stabilizer i could find, tried out ohlins and extreme-tech, but I had to lose the mirror bracket which is important to me for highchair stoppies and grabbing in a wheelie, the hyperpro is the only one i could find to fit and keep that brace - it is just the regular tankmount for a 96-99 -no mods!! 1 finger stoppies all day------ i love my crunchy pile of ****

I didnt research but I think Scotts damper will fit either setup too
