Biggest influence on our sport.
Who do you think has been the biggest influence on our sport and by that I mean who started it all as far as where we are today and who opened the doors for what you can do on a motorcycle.

Circle wheelies before the starboyz where out of elementary school!!!!

Check out the sprocket on some of these bikes, remember this is in the 80's.
Remember this is where it all really started. Kyle Woods and The Starboyz are good but Indian Larry (RIP) acrobatics and Domokos doing **** we do now opened the doors for what we now know as modern stutning. Kyle Woods and Starboyz have mad it somewhat mainstream.

Re: Biggest influence on our sport.
local riders got me into the sport. i wanted a bike. then seen how crazy the sport was and some of the riders around here and what they could do...a yr ago i never heard anything about BP or a rear brake or any of that nonsense.
now im hooked. but personally none of the pros or groups influenced me.

Re: Biggest influence on our sport.
Gary Rothwell was the first guy I ever saw doing the equivalent of todays modern stuntbike show at Pocono. If AC influenced him... to AC. Evel made stunts (at least jumping) bigtime. I saw Domokos wheelie the entire High Point motocross track back in the 70's or 80's. I didn't vote cause I cant pick just one.

I remember back when I was into mx and didnt even know what stunting was reading about "the wheelie king", this was early 90s. I remember something about him having a custom motor setup on the front wheel to keep it spinning while he was wheelieing.
