Anybody adjusting valves regularly?
Hey guys,
I jumped on the bandwagon and got myself a 01 F4i. The bike currently has 30,500km on it (18,000 miles) and runs and drives very well. Now, the service manual recommends adjusting the valves every 15,000 miles or so. Is anybody actually doing this? I figured I'd check the valves today but I couldn't take the valve cover off. Turns out you have to take the throttle body off to get the valve cover out and I need a really long screw driver for that which I don't have. I put everything back together and called it a day.
Anybody here who has lots of miles on his F4i without every adjusting the valves?

Well, if the valves were done at 15,000 miles then they'll certainly not need doing now, but do you know foir certain whether they've already been done?
For peace of mind, I'd check them...
