New here, what to look for in a new bike

Hey not really a new bike but looking at getting a stunt bike. Probly an f2 casue they can be had for under 1k around here.

i been looking at one its a 1991 f2, unknown mileage, clean title. leak in the radiator has been layed down so some fucked up plastics. says its got new brakes and tires....not pretty to look at but 600bucks

just wondering if its worth it or does it seem like dudes tryn to sell a tweaked bike frame wise.

i wouldn't buy it....like for something around 2k if you can....under 1 your not going to get much decent

I'd have to agree. Look for something newer. There are plently of bikes out there that are newer and not that much more. What are you looking to do with it? First bike? Just wondering.

this would be my second bike so i know how to ride. Just looking to have some parking lot fun practice wheelies and stoppies i dont wanna do it on mine current bike cuase its a classic

practice wheelies and stoppies? Tells me that you haven't yet perfected them. So I would go with anything to nice. Something that you know is going to get beat up and you don't care. But there are bikes out there that are great for just that thing, they are called, the F4i. Tough bike, the 636 is also tough. Just my thoughts

yeh i was looking at the f4i, hoping the xmas season would bring the prices down but there still like 3500+ and all in prestine condition which sucks casue id rather have one thats got plastics that are trashed. and 636 is impossible to get thats not gonna take an arm and a leg

You should be able to find one on here for a lot cheaper, and usually already set up. Just look around. Where are you at? Thinking of getting rid of my F4i, not sure just yet, but thinking

yeh i live in Washington state but all the bikes sold around here are in great condtion or comeplete crap. still trying to gather funds for my bike so im just checking the market wont be till next year when i can get one, i keep spending to much on my car haha

I see what you mean. Sucks. You should be alright, once you get your bike, it will all be worth it. And about the car, know how that goes also, anyway, good luck bro
