i had heard about it before

but just looked at honda's website.

has the f4i bin officially discontinued?

Ever since they went to that one piece gay looking seat, sales dropped like a MF. I hate the fact that they did that, cause it's one of the best bikes around

News have got here months ago,
Honda's got new cards to play poker in the all-arounder 600cc bikes.
No one of them will be made as good as the old CBR 600 F Sport ( F4i ),
sure, quality is dropping though.
You can play with the new CBF600... but i highly doubt it'll be any similar.

The 01-03 split style seat & subframe are a direct swap on the 04-06.
If you get a 01-03 seat, subframe, & plastic, just unbolt the banana seat and bolt on the split seat.

I agree that the new seats are gay but its a fairly cheap swap, thanks to ebay and stuntforum classafides.

I didn't know that it was a direct swap. Anyways, I don't think you'll find a better all around bike then the F4i though. I love that bike. It looks mean, runs good, and lasts a long time.

Everything is pretty much the same since '99 . I've even seen a f4i upper put on a F4 , and it looked nice :YEAH

Sad to see the F series go . My first big bike i ever rode was a 88 cbr 600f hurricane , and my first big bike i bought was a new '92 f2 .

It's a shame
