zx6r overheating after fur'd

I just fur'd my 98 zx6r and i take it out and as soon as i get off the highway it starts to over heat within half a mile, so my question is for those who know or have fur'd their bike if they have had the same problem or know of how to fix the problem, like maybe a lower temp stat if so where can i get the stat?better coolant, removing front fender for better circ. Im lost lol hit me up with sug. Thanks

Re: zx6r overheating after fur'd

dont bash him for doing something he likes. Alot of people say stunting is lame, and that its stupid to tear your bike up ... but WE ALL seem to like it. So lets not bash him for doing something he wanted to do. As far as help for you, i havent heard much about this problem. Just chech your coolant, make sure your fan is cutting on (check fuse) ect. It could possibly just be a coincidence.
