So I notice the new stunt life banner......I see you stole one of my boys pics and chop it up and didnt even give any credit to him....WTF???? why dont you ask before you take and chop.........so what kind of deal are we going to work out???? I mean you charge like $800 a year for advertiseent banners dont u????

First, I'm flattered. Next, I'm not sure whether it legal or illegal to use a photo posted on this site by a user for your own promotions. I'm mostly a reader, not much of a poster, and I understand that you may not know who I am - but regardless, I don't think it very cool to take a photo that was posted only for the amusement of the readers, clip my watermark off the bottom, and use it as a design element on your site. I am a professional photographer, I use excellent equipment, and I incurred expenses to travel to that event in L.A. last weekend - this is why I get paid or at least asked permission before one of my photos is used.

I'm not trying to be hard - just protecting my work like any artist would. Like I said, flattered you like the photo, she's a gorgeous girl and it was a great spontaneous shot but, if you're not paying me and you're not asking permission - please kindly remove the photo or add my watermark back to the shot so I get promoted too.

i've been the major sponsor for a new header on StuntLife Forum.
And one of the drawers, although picture choice has been someone else's business down here.
there's been quite some debate about the new header writings,
but pics have been loved instantly both by drawer and users commenting.
You see it:
Nobody has stolen anything: we just picked 'em up since they're stunning.
and we added them to the header of the greatest stuntriding website worldwide.
AKA, your pics have gotten worldwide attention.

You should like it instead of barking around.
And you could ask ME - not Nags, not StuntDave, not ANYONE,
but ME. you know who made the header - if you're looking for some to bark at.

That means it's not officially an ad,
hence you're not paying for something
people worldwide was seeing as the first thing loaded on their page.

And I appreciate the "Worldwide Attention" - this is not the only website these photos get posted to. All that was asked for - at a minimum - is permission. Check out the shot of Clint Ewing Scraping 12 - he got that shot, and the rest of the sequence from me for FREE, to use for a Poster with one of his MAJOR sponsors, all because he sent an email - made a phone call and asked permission.

What's wrong with me is that "the most important and recognized website in the business" is not 'using' photographs - to 'use a photo' implies that you have permission, or have purchased rights to use the photo. If StuntLife wants to be perceived as a legit business, it should start acting like one.

He's right D, it is a header - which means he is knowledgeable enough to know a little about designing stuff. And he's got a descent eye because the photo is HOT. The StuntLife staff has apparently recognized that is was inappropriate to use a photo without permission or recognition because it's no longer there. This 'drawer?' sounds like another "Internet Gangsta" lookin to up his post count by taking pop shots.
