Left Block & Custom Avatars
Left Column Block:
The left block is for advertisers that will be on the site shortly, the left block on all pages will be modifiable by users, meanign there is no option to turn it off from the usercp. The only way to not have the left column block of advertisers is to become a contributing member of the site.
Custom/Animated Avatars:
Custom/Animated avatars are for contributing members only, if you had one before the update, it will remain there as long as its not offendable, meaning nudity, abuse of the rules, etc...
