Whats the power differance 85cc VS 125cc

Looking dirt bike this winter.I would pefer the 85cc bike since it would fit in my van but I am worried about it not being enough power to haul around a 200lb rider.Id just like to keep up with my buddies 200cc Yamaha Blaster.

If its a 2 stroke you'll have no problem keeping up with a blaster

Go with a KX 100. I wiegh 220, and it rips. The 85's are a little small, 125's are too big for the power they put out. KX 100 is perfect.

The kx100 only has 3" of over all length and 2" of extra gound clearance.Pretty much the same wheel base.Ill look them up and thanks for the input but I think the 85's would easier to find cheaper since there is alot of them around.

Re: Whats the power differance 85cc VS 125cc

85cc MX bikes are fast and vicious. They feel alot more vicious than a 125 as they weigh less. there isnt much difference between them really just the 125 is nicer for jumping and stability. 125 IMO is easier, but the 85s are damn good fun:YEAH

I had a kx 100 and it was a great bike. I only weigh 130 and i moved up to a 125. I didn't have a problem on it. I race it in the 125 class.
