best 4stroke stunter (125/250/400)
i've decided i wanta use a dirtbike to built up my stunt skills.
i was going to by a 50, but if i get a dirtbike i can hit the bush too (can't afford both)..
i'm after a 4stroke
anyways i'm thinking;
TTR125 (can afford 00-03)
TTR250 (can afford 99-00)
XR250/400 (can afford 97-98)
so i cant decide which cc to go, i currently ride a gsxr600.
any imput??

stunt...like street stunt......if u meen that u need a 250 or a 450......for fmx....a 125 will do nething a 250 can but u gatta work it diffrent....a 400 might b 2 heavy....most pros use 250.....

yeah will be for street stunting, and maybe take the bike off road once in awhile..
i weigh about 75kg, so a TTR125 might not be powerful enough for off road.

watch out man, them 450's are damn powerful.
A TTR250 would prolly do you, if you really got the skill, tyhan you don't need the extra cc's when it comes to street stunting.
slow ****=brake control and idle.

Go for the 400, lots of power and the acceleration you need to hit jumps with short take offs. Trust me you will not regret the power. You could get a 250 and be fine but why not just got the extra step and get the 400. And whoever said that it weighs more...that dosen't matter!!!!! It's only about 20lbs more which isn't anything at all in fmx. Trust me i ride 250's bored out 30 over and 500's all the time. Go for the big bike man.

I don; think he wants to jump it. A TTR125L woul dbe great for wheelies. Now For FMX I would definelty say a 250 2 stroke of any brand. I wouldnt't get a 4 stroke mx bike if you just wanna beat the **** outta it. Those require more maintinance.

Um...when you stunt, when you get better, you sorta slow down...
I.E. slow wheelies, circles, engine brake tricks, 12's.

Think about it... the 250 is the exact same frame with a bigger engine which = more power. You might like a 125 at first but you'll eventually want more power. You get used to the bikes fast which is why i say get the 250 or a 400. Hell even go for a 500 and put new sprockets on it to set it up for trail riding.

the TTR is more forgiving for stunting than the bigger bikes.
that's like saying, why get a 600 for stunting when you can get a 1K?
more cc's don't make it a better stuntbike.
