Re: best 4stroke stunter (125/250/400)

15 horses is alot for a 125cc engine to put out man. Think about it, the bike only weighs about 180lbs and you have the power of 15 horses pushin that, **** that's plenty power, maybe for you. I prefer the 500 haha, i like to feel the power between my legs.

It's only fun and games until someone looses an eye. Then it's just a game, find the eye.

CRF250 making 49 hp? They barely make 35 hp at the tires. A CRF450 makes about 49 at the tires (55 claimed at the crank)

the thing with the TTR 125, is that it has tons of engine brake.

it'll teach you throttle control, as well as brake control.

beleive me, hp is not what it's all about. that thing will feel like it's flying if you open it up, compared to say a 50 or bicycle

i do ride a gsxr, so i'm just to a little acceleration. so a 125 wont feel like its flying.

Re: best 4stroke stunter (125/250/400)

Just go all the way and get a 500. It's the exact same frame as a 125 or a 250 but it's just a stronger metal or some **** like that. If your 5' 5" just lean to one side when you stop and just lean it against a wall or tree or something when your starting it. Put it this way, best for your money and you'll never outgrow it haha.

Yes, but its horrible on the sporkets and the chain. The sudden snap from the motor can break the splines on the front sproket off.

streetbikes from what i heard used to have 2 stroke motors in them. but air pollution regulations forced them to stop being made. but unless it has oil injection good luck filling it up at the pump. and 2 strokes aren't that great on gas mileage either.

He's right here....34 hp at the rear tire to be exact. And trust me...that's plenty of power when your flying thru the woods on a three foot wide trail with trees wizzing by your helmet. How fast do you really want to go? I ride a 954 for street/stunting and the damn "little" crf250x still scares me on the dirt sometimes. Get the bike that fits you best and forget all the numbers. A 250 or 450 is more than enough for you....hell the $6400 dollar price tag is enough to make ya choke!

Enjoy,

-Blade

Not the traction of the street. Dirt your tires spin if you put to much load to them. On the street you wheelie. I’m trying to find the post on a different site with a picture of a shorn off sprocket. And your post with the 500 with the same frame, its not. They have the same frame and motor from the late 80s. The only real changes where suspension and brakes. So if you can get it a cheap kx or cr500 that’s a 1990 model or something that runs get it, it’s the same as the 2001 versions. And for for Motopimps post on the 2 stroke thing, they were banned from making a street legal 2 stroke straight from the factory, but they can still be made street legal.
