Re: hydraulic brakes
I run a hydraulic rear brake and it is fuking amazing! I use an older modle brembo hand brake and it kicks so much *** I cant evern describe it.
I had to get a local shop to fab up and weld a bracket on my swing arm for my caliper then just ran the steal braided line from the hand brake to the brake master. I opted to get rid of the foot brake and run a hand brake only. Pricey as *** but worth every penny!
I will post pics when I get home.

Re: hydraulic brakes
Don't do it Nina, don't do it, Jaun p told me that Red baron makes a kit now, probably a little cheaper. You would still have to buy the handbrake lever and lines if you want to go really animal

Re: hydraulic brakes
you don't know what you started by letting me ride the fiddy. Red Baron does make a kit, and I can get it thru parts Canada at my work.. so instead of paying $699 plus tax for the kit... I can get the whole thing for $500. I would say **** it and buy the kit, but it only works with 12'' rims and I just bought brand new 10'' hd rims from Red Baron that Johnny's spoking for me. we just got a 636 at my work as a trade in so im pretty sure thats where im dumping my money .... a nice bday gift to myself

Re: hydraulic brakes
Do what I did. I still used a stock 50 rim I just had my shop guy fab up a bracket then bolted my calpier to my swing arm.
We heated and bent the crap out of the lever. It looks silly as hell but it gives me prefect index finger coverage on it. This set up works amazing!
