I'm starting NROTC next year and joining the Marine Corps afterwards.
And YES they do teach Marines to be phsyco in boot camp. You have to find the guys that went through NROTC to date because they didn't go through bootcamp. They will just be half phsyco!

well, i've worn the navy and army! but the marines look the best! they all suck 2 wear! weren't made for comfort! i prefer a good set of BDU's! guess now they are ACU's!

I have to disagree with you. The thing is they don't teach you to be a phycho. They break you down to build you back up again. It is a mental game in bootcamp. They try to weed out your weaknesses and to make them stronger. Can some go insane umm yeah or so one girl claimed while I was in basic. They train us to be the best of the best. I was a little offended by that comment. But seeing how I am a phychotic bitach I could have just told you to STFU lol.

Even tho half of us are Marines (including myself) we all know that the Marine Corps has the best uniform....hell we could put on our worst uniform and still look better than the rest...**** i'll put on a pair of cammies and look better than them...
I mean really let's put one member from each service in there best uniform in a bar or somewhere...and let's see who get's laid first and the most...

Being a jarhead myself my answer is obvious.
what I have always thought is weird is this:
If I go into a store after stuntin with ripped jeans or shorts, t-shirt, hat backwards and to the side, and some skate shoes...people asume I'm just some young punk. Let me go home and put on my dress blues....I get a reaction out of everyone that sees me....especially the women.

After 4+ years in the Marines, I never got to wear the best looking uniform in the Armed Services (always deployed for the Birthday). lol...doesn't hurt my feelings though...

I'd take that bet!!!! NAVY SQUID LOUD AND PROUD. I have to say our Dress Blues Look the best with USMC a very close second!!!

I joined the Marines myself in 96 and never graduated recruit training because of a medical issue ( Dropped to MRP 3 weeks before graduation ). I am proud of myself for never quitting and going through some of the toughest training the world had to offer. I have much respect for the Marine Corps. I joined the Army later ( Pretty disappointed with Army training). They just didn't put that fear into me like they did in recruit training . As far as the Uniforms go, It's Marine Dress Blues hands down. Sorry Army. And by the way... Plt 2079 Eco. still rocks the house.
