bondoed tank pics

hey.. i'm in the process of bondoing my tank and i wanted to see how other peoples tanks came out.. and what style they made it 2... if you could put some up that would be helpful

I added bondo to the left and right of the gas cap cause the sides on tank were kinda sharp

heres how mine started when i got the tank

and its all spray painted btw..i am the shake shake god..DUPLICOLOR FO LIFE!!!
then i topped it off with plasti dip spray to hold me on...instead of grip tape

Mine was dented in the front to start with from a crash, but i banged out the crease and made it work. The surf board tape is the $hit too.....

but duplicolor sprays just like a gun..nice fan spray...that tank has almost 2 cans on it..and then a can of clear..it looks a mile deep in the sun

ya.. its a work in progress... i'm not sure how i should shape it... i see some people have like a circle cup in theirs.. but i'd think that that would hurt the back of your thighs... i was thinking to just have the a$$ part and make the rest smooth

it still has much work that needs to be done but its getting there...

the cap looks high but its not as bad as it looks....it was comfortable so i stoped beating it(i never thought i could beat it too much)

its called Plasti-Dip...its what you use to coat the end of pliers and stuff..so your hands dont slip when they are greasy..it comes in a spray can...bout 9 bux a can at home depot...i love mine...doesnt slip at all and no holes in the jeans

What kind of paint did you use on the plastics? same stuff or plastic paint? Also what kind of clear? Im doing my bike over and Im going to go with that instead of krylon fusion.

i use dupli color....by far the best rattle can out there...and if you want a good clear to hold...you can either spray 2 cans of clear over the tank or buy some real clear..like valspar
and any of the shake shake from duplicolor will work..the green i have is actually engine enamel lol
