I have 07 08 forks polished.....k and n filter, and 05 06 swing arm swap.....have the 05 06 rear wheel, and the center v fairing

 

and both side fairings....lol

I would just change the cam chain tensioner, I know i'm not there but your valves are probably ok.
When i cought my last 636, the guy ssid it's probably due for a valve adjustment, when I could clearly here the cam chain clackin away.

Change the cam chain tensioner first, then go form there. It's not that bad to change out, but if you have no mechanical ability or common sense, I'd take it to a dealer.

 

i have caliper 35 shipped with pad.

i also have left side fairing in good shape...90 shipped

 

if ur valves are making noies try laying ur bike on its side for a day... that **** fixed my problem by accident cuz i left it on its side to do my fork conversion and the next day my valvs were ******* unheard
