i have a 01 f4i....bike was wrecked before and frame was bent....taken to frame professional and had the front piece off a 1997 rewelded on the old 01 frame so it has a 1997 title clear....no big deal just means you get cheaper insurance.....ive only had the bike for about two weeks but i have my eye on another bike and i have had multiple people ask if this is for sale so im posting it up ...im asking 3600 non negotiable....bike has carbon kevlar brake lines ...and i put a brand new tire on the front and a used on rear..bike runs like a champ

I am kinda curious as to how a 97 front end was welded to an 01. 97 was the steel framed F3 and 01 is the aluminum framed F4i

well my first instinct was jb weld, but that would be too obvious... definitely wood glue.

 

 

they stamped clear 97 vin numbers in a hot 01 frame! duh!
