alright so I have an 03 954 red/black with right around 8k miles i believe. it currently runs but something is wrong with the motor, and i dont have the money or experience to fix it. So basically i am trying to sell it or trade it for preferably a stunted out 636, f4i, or 600 rr. I figure ive got a better chance of trading it for a stunt bike rather than a stock bike. besides the motor work, the bike is in great condition, minor scratches on the right side faring but was from the previous owner. the thing is, I leave to go back to baltimore on may 12th so i have to get rid of it before then. i will post pics up in a few mins anyone interested post up, PM me, email cbaquol@gmail.com or call my cell (443) 957 5856, the bike is currently in tampa FL but like i said i will be in baltimore may 12th and cant bring it with me. let me know asap!!!!!

 

The only difference is there are no mirrors and theres some griptape on the gas tank, bike is all stock execpt the Jardine full system and Xenon blue headlights. as far as i know could be 200 fix i dont know, and to find out it will cost me 5 for the shop to tear it down that i dont have so i dont know. the motor does run but makes weird noises, could be an easy fix or not, i dont know. either way it could be used for parts if who ever wants it doesnt plan to fix it and ride it.

I'm moving to Boston right around that time. I have a 3 rail trailer with 2 bikes....... Maybe I could move it. I don't recognize you though. You don't stunt in the brandon spot, do you? Well, if you ever have I was the guy with the silver 04 636 that had the SBS cage on it. I go to Pure Acceleration from time to time, a lot of people know me up there. Well, just letting you know I could transport it for a small fee. Maybe we could work out a way to where you aren't worried about it getting ganked.

nah ive heard of the brandon spot but i couldnt get anyone to tell me where its at, actaully valeska was telling me about it but that wasnt untill after my bike broke down, but yeah the transportation might be key how much would it cost me for you to do that? when exactly are you going? and if i were to sell it outright id like to get around 2500, it may seem a little steep but i paid 4500 for it a month ago or so and i dont know what wrong iwth it, could be something as stupid as a valve adjustment, i just dont know because i have no experience with motor work. How Many Miles R On The Bike. And What Kinda Noise Is It Makeing Exactly? Dose It Run Fine And Just Make A Loud Ticking Noise? Or Dose It Run Like ****?

 

its got around 8k miles, the noise is a knocking that only does it when you rev to like 4k but it doesnt do it repeatedly, its like one knock but then again i never held the throttle up there for more than a second, and since it started making the sound i havnt ridden it at all, and only started it once or twice for no more than a few seconds at a time.


and as for an update to everyone else whos been emailing and PMing me, my moms longtime friend just moved to st pete and he is a certified yamaha mechanic whos been in the business for a long time. he has agreed to check it out and see what he can come up with. as soon as i hear something hopefully sometime early next week i will post up what he says. thanks for the interest!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Dude, I couldn't get a trailer big enough for the right price. Sorry man, no dice. I can barely fit my 2 and a 1/2 bikes.
