You can't buy a bike from out of state with less than 7500 miles if you live in cali.

Dude was asking for a price on a new bike, guessing his location means he is from cali. Because of cali emission laws if you live there you can't just buy a brand new bike from out of state and register it there, it has to have a certain amount of miles or something.

 

oh well bought it last night 8200 otd out here brand new. Want another though just for cruising.

But last year I snagged (STOLE rather) an 05' f4i leftover for $6649. 0 miles brand new, not a scratch... from a suzuk/yami dealer.

He got it from an auction and it sat in their showroom for a couple years... I came in every few months offering $6500 to take it off their hands and he kept telling me $8499 or some retarded number. The thing literally had a coating of dust on it cause it was so ****** ugly (compared to the new suzuk's and yami's).

The next november I strolled in and asked one more time...... deal!

Had to do the old coaster drive by scrapin the mud flap off, right after I picked it up (a-la Warren James in "The Revolution").


I brought it back about a week later all done up w/ smashed in tank, cage/bar, hb and the works and they just laughed, shaking their heads.
