i have a stock 04 xb12s lightning and would like to change the exhaust system. i am looking for a louder sounding pipe. is there anyone that could give me advise as to what manufacturers sound the best. any info would be appreciated.

 

We have the race mufflers that are from the factory. They sound really good. If you want something REALLY loud I hear that D&D makes a mean muffler. Hope this helps.

 

D&D by far makes the loudest pipes out on the market. To make them even louder, pour some oil down the exhaust and let it burn out the packing. HAHA

 

The race exhaust does sound nice. Availibility may be a prob. though. Hear they are not producing it anymore. The D&D is LOUD! But has great ground clearance. The jardine has a great sound and is a decent price. You can also go with the drummer muffler as well. The force exhaust I hear is nice but doesn't hold up to well. The welds break out.
