Does 03-06 600RR need the second Idle mod??

the second idle mod like the F4i,

I was looking at schematics and the original idle screw goes to the wax unit like the F4i, so it looks like it does need the second idle screw.

can a 600rr guy please confirm or deny this.

oh man, i dont even want to think about it lol, from what ive done so far it seems like any kind of working on this bike is a painful process

this is gonna be the streeter though so hopefully i wont have to work on it too much

hahahaha i know what you mean now. i took the tank cover, tank , and airbox off this morning an wwwweeewwh! the RR makes u work for it

punching babys, yeah but what they said its a pain. ive helped a buddy set his up and swap 5 RR motors in the same bike.

it's not that bad at all

gotta move the ECU and unplug a couple injectors, other then that it's about the same as a f4i, remove the gas tank and air box

I've had multiple 600rr's down to pieces for friends, hell I even was rocking flamingo's on this one before he got his new motor!

psh **** that. you gotta unplug the whole damng wiring harness and that ******* airbox comes apart in like 3 pieces and is like wedged in there........grrr i hate 600rr's lol theres only like 2 bolts holding an entire f4i together.

I'd probably pull the motor personally

but then again I've never swapped a head so what do I know


Hell I'm not gonna even adjust my f4i valves tell I pull the motor to paint the frame
