Re: What's my Banshee worth?
Loks clean but unfortunately unless you live in an area where everyone wants a banshee the wave of 450Rs has killed your resale value. I would agree with the 1500.

Re: What's my Banshee worth?
The Year hurts it, and the engine work hurts it (even though it is probably beneficial that you had it done).
Although the shape it appears to be in makes up for it I'd say.
It totally depends on the person buying it.
Book value on it is between $1100 - $1500, but Banshee's can be weird.
Depending on how many are around your area, and the demand for them you could get more than that. Around here I wouldn't be suprised if that thing would fetch between $1800-$2000.
Oh just noticed that the shroud is painted black....That might bring the value back down a little bit.

Looks like an army tank!
Lucky there aren't that many banshees around your area, or atleast not that I've seen if it's anywhere like around here, the only area that you find *** loads of 'em is by the dunes. I'd say list it for $2500 and if it sells in a day you know for next time to not sell it so cheap

The first couple (or so) model years of the Banshee had J-arm suspension, but that was way before yours, so no difference there either.
So yeah, the year is only relevant because it's old.

I have a bud with a 98 Warrior and we were talking about the same thing and Its worth more to just keep it then to have a tire kicker rookie buy it and kill it ........................its a pice of ATV History HEHEHEHHEHELOLOL.

Re: What's my Banshee worth?
You could part it out for wayyyyyyy more than 2,000 probably more like 5,000 but then agian you kill another part of atv history, but you will make the value of all the other ramaining ones go up a fraction of a percent

Re: What's my Banshee worth?
Around my parts, that thing would go for waaay more than 1500. Looks like it's in great shape, and hey, banshees are a freakin blast. Speaking of old 2 strokes...I got an 88 Tecate, that makes your banshee look like a spring chicken!
