Newbie Question! I would love ya'lls input on what kind of motorcycle I should purchase. Dubb is teaching me to ride, and of course the next big chore is to buy one, so give me your two

Get a LIFAN
You can find them on Craigslist sometimes. Japanese made bike with a Honda motor. 200cc, street legal, light, and CHEAP. I believe new they run about $1400. I have seen good condition bikes on CL for $800-1200.
