diesel prices here are £1.22 per litre (about $2.50) and i think there is just under 4 litres in a gallon (3.77 i think)

yes they do random checks, i ran my sprinter on red for about 6 months and it fucked up may fuel pump! ive been told that the level of lubrication in red deisel isnt as good as normal deisel, red is normally used on **** like tracktors and they have huge fuel pumps and dont need as much oil in the deisel....... dunno might be bs but its what ive been told....?

 

i get it that cheap its unreal. 8 pound for 25 littres. ill give it a shot. ive never been checked ever and i ran my van for ages on it.

My thoughts .... off-road diesel does not have to comply with the new regulations that spawned ultra-low sulfur diesel, therefore they still have the good lubricity the pre '08 diesels are built for

 

It is a grade of diesel called "ultra-high sulfer diesel"
