Wanted to give myself a nice little shelf so feet have room, O-Town all the way. No cracks or leaks. Trick is, phone book method, and push down gas cap!!

 

what did you do? somthing dont look right.

here is mine. started out small but i needed more room so i made it bigger. now i need to bondo sand and paint it. maybe do some rhino lining

So i'm looking to finally dent my tank down on my 07 r6's ...i heard tha best way is to start outside and work in..others have said start around the middle and work outwards from the gas cap...what method is better?
wish i could find a decent video in this forum...

and while i'm at it should i use tha reg. rubber mallet idea or phone book and hammer idea....combo of the two??

 

always start at the cap and work your way to the outside!

 

Thanks dude i was thinking that would be best so my key would fit. but ended up looping it in the accident so claimed it and hopefully will be getting a check to fix it all...might still beat it down though and bondo it. First time doing anything with tank or stunt stuff....but on my r6's it's pretty good feeling...like surfing...
