The bike has officially emerged from the pole barn. I finally gave up on charging the 8-year-old factory battery. I bet if I hadn't left it connected since last year, it would have kept going. Popped in a new one and it fired right up.

 

I believe it when I see it.

 

Got some miles on it last week! Needs some cosmetic work, though. The wheels didn't like being ignored for like 2 years and look nice and dull. I'm also going to order all new painted plastics next week. They're still battle-scarred from the last wipeout. Its not nearly as expensive as some metrics, though. I think I paid a little over $500 for all of them last time and they come pre-painted.
