Hi! from Kingston, to all the riders out there!

Just wondering if anyone stunts a VTR? Since my baby had a bad track day last year I've been thinking about using it to learn something other than crashing...

BUT, I can't find too many spares, any good frame sliders or crash cages for SuperHawks... anyone have any ideas / experiences?!

This may be in a stunt forum... but you might be the guy to ask... if I wanted to learn to weld some parts on my bike (headcase and brackets), what's a good way to go about?

also saying hi to a bloke along the 401...you should totally stunt a VFR. not that i'm not totally in love with all the gixxer 750 and CBR900's that are stunt works of art, but it's always cool to see something different. there was this stunt competition at Cayuga last year and some dude was competing on a Katana! a freaking can-a-tuna! and he was DIRTY! so respect to you and your VFR. though you'll probabaly have to custom make a whole bunch of parts and stunting necessities......

 

Yeah, I'm gonna keep my eyes open for a beater bike to stunt before I stick with the VTR... but it's an option. Think an F3 would make a good practice-to-wheelie-and-endo bike? There just aren't any bike wreckers around, so I'm short on options.

What are you riding? And know of any banged up CBR900's?

i learned most of mu stunts on an F4, so i think the F3 would be a good choice. my wheelies were frustratingly sluggish at first, but the F4 could hold them. the other thing i liked about it was the fact that it was carbureted, so it had cruise control--great for highchairs, christs and switchbacks--stuff that i'm paranoid about doing on a fuel injected bike. i dropped it like a thousand times learing rolling endos..........
