Intro.
My name: Ashley. I go by Helix (long, yet undefined story). I am the proud owner of a Honda 400EX. I call him: Diesel. Probably the best looking 400 I have seen yet. I always said I wanted a bigger, better bike and I would never own a 400, but it is the best thing to ever have happened to me. He has a K&N air filter, HOTCam, jet kit, full body K&K graphics kit, White Bros. slip on, FMF powercore header (I know what you're thinking- bizarre for that exhaust and header to go together- but it works like a charm!). I also have a Yamaha WR400, a 05 Honda 450R, a Honda Mini Trail 50, a Honda 50R, a Suzuki LT250R Quadracer, and a project dune buggie. I like to ride at the Oregon Dunes (about an hour from my house). Otherwise, I ride just about every other day with three of my good friends in my hometown doing mountain climbs, trail riding, building and going off our jumps, and working the drag strip (mastering my wheelies
). I am not the best rider at all, but I love the sport and give my full support to all who do as well, and I strive to improve more and more everyday. I have been in two wrecks. Only one being life-threatening...and I'd say I have a pretty clean record. I started out riding dirt bikes (a Honda Mini Trail 50) when I was 4 years old with my dad. I live and breath motosports. I am always looking for new ways to improve my skills and of course, my bike. I struggle to find the time to ride as often as I would like as I am working a full-time job, and going to school full-time to become a dental hygienist. I have my two sides. For one, I am a girly-girl. My nails are always painted, I wear high heels most every day, I probably fix my makeup 5x a day, I am an A & B student (an overachiever and perfectionist), I wear a skirt or a dress at least three days out of a week, I am a tanaholic, my hair is always perfect, I am a firm believer in always wearing pink (or bright colors), and I would choose iced tea over Budweiser anyday. But then there's my wild side. I am not afraid to grab my helmet, kick off my heels, and throw on some riding clothes and just go for it. I do all of my own bike maintenance (which means, yes, I also change my own oil, and tires as well). I will spend my Saturdays hurling over jumps, and getting covered in mud and horse crap. Break a nail? Who cares: it's riding time :YEAH (Okay okay- so my riding shirt and helmet are pink, so what?!?). Verbal throwdown complete.
Thanx for reading
