why wouldnt he respond to that question? i would suggest going to a experienced mapper/tuner though, they might have some answers.. anyone knwo about the gsxr's and the idle on em? like which years have good idle, and which not? warrenjamez used to kill an 04, had good idle tricks on em.. but my bud's 04 sucks. now jamez kills it on a newer one, still looks good..
my 05 will pull idle like nobodys business then sometimes it decides to just **** out, depends on its mood... I believe it is something with the throttle bodies if Im remembering right... there is somethings some guys have done with the butterflies or something haha i cant think right now, there is a few threads on here if you search it

Thanks for the feedback. So the Honda sounds like a pain, leading me to the ZX6R.
1.What about the 08 and 09 zx6r, everything I hear about the 09 is good news (NAGS). I did a little research and found that the FI system was completely overhauled from 08. Maybe that and the new forks is what makes it a better. Any feedback on this??????
2.What needed to be modified on the 09 ZX6R to adjust the idle?
3.Also does anyone know if any of the parts from 07-08 are interchangeable with the 09? If I get the 09 I will need to pick up a gas tank and possible a rear rim ASAP.

I have ridden an 08 ZX6R (not stunting) and liked it but riding and stunting are two different things.

I am looking to upgrade to an one of the following three bikes. I have a soft spot for Honda but the kawi look awfully appealing. All three have are salvage and the 09 zx6r needs the most work out of them all.
Also how does the 08 zx6r stack up against the 09 zx6r???

That is exactly what i used to do with mine! And know I own a Kawi. dont get the rr no bueno.
