soi just spoke to a friend and he said his f4i did the same **** and it was his cam chaine tensioner, said the stock one was worn out put in an after market one and it was all *******.......what you think...........i do hear lil vibration under the tank at about 5 gran in every gear

F4i are a bitch when this happens mine does it still when it gets hot. but only when it reaches over 220

 

how bad is the ticking does it rattle real bad? the f4i came chain makes some noise and even if the tensioner is a little wore out it wont make much difference but if she is clanking away replace it

 

Did you do this yet? If not go do it and stop trying to figure out other problems that it might be when this most likely will fix it right up for you.

 

i dont understand your ? you want to no if i have done this then ya i have done all the mods to my bike. that is y im letting him no what the problem could be. i ride with 5 F4Is and each one of our bikes have had this issue. most of the time its cause of to much air or the bike getting to hot.

 

just start by taping 1 side off. if that does not help, then move on to the next fix!

 

Ive done it all and actually found that changing my oil helped out a bit too.

I know it sounds crazy but it got rid of half the bog, it still bogs but its getting better.

Ive done:

new plugs
tape the box
change the oil
clean air mod

all of it and it still bogs out at times.

No the questions was for F4ikid, I was just saying your explanation was probably right on and he needed to try it instead of continuing to look for other possible problems.

 

I taped it off and it definetly helped a lot . I get ver lil bog when the bike is at like 225........gonna put my fan on a switch. O and can i put a 1000 fan on my radiator...wil it bolt on,,,,,,what bigger fan set up will work....my friend puta 1000rr on his 600rr.that **** stays really cool.....they all havr rr's and cal my bike a dinosour,,,,,,they dnt know whats good for them lol.....thanks

i just looked into it..... looks hella easy.....will do it 2 marrow,,,,,,,,, what size is the "T" valve i need, i wanna buy before i open up the bike........what size are the hoses......????? thanks

 

kleen air mod, 2nd idle cable and a 60 tooth sprocket plus practice will take care of it all

What do you do with the stock metal part that the hoses are removed from...the t clamp takes its place .........is the original hose connector removable

 

some one told me that my 05 gsxr 750 will keep up with the gsxr 1000.is this true? and for that matter my friend got on my bike and rode it and they said it pretty much feels like a paper weight. meaning no power. wats the reason for this? any info is really helpful!!!
