i've had both year models 03 and an 05 and they're both fine but as far as looks, it should be obvious the 05 wins hands down.
I dont understand how a 636 is a bad first bike to stunt on? I learned on a 929 and beat the crap out of my old 03!!!-motor outlasted the frame!

it seems on the 05-06 the tanks cant be dented flat on top, only behind the cap lower on the tank... how much do you have to hold on the bars with that dent???? the lip on some of them seems shallow

personally i like the 05-06..............
but the question all depends....... if your..... looking for a crunchy piece to learn on....... then a really cheap f4i is the ticket. if your already decent, then get a decent bike.

It doesnt sound like your looking for a stuntbike to me. Track days on a stuntbike? You have an f4i but you've never stunted it right? Are you actually just looking for a street/track bike to do a couple wheelies on every once in a while?

ive got an f4i and 06 636. Just set up my kawi but it is so different than my f4i. Pulls almost too hard, lots of engine brake, just really different, but i think ill like it. Pirouette's and stuff seem to be easier on this bike, seems lighter to throw into a tight spin. The biggest thing for me is gonna be getn used to the tank dent. I had the best dent on my f4i, a flat-top with a fiberglassed lip, looks sweet and works unbelievable. Now i gotta switch to Otown, but im gonna fiberglass a lip on there so my booty sticks. Its just gonna take a while to get Hichair O's n stuff back.

I just started stunting and love me 03 very light and small. Don't know about abuse cause I only dropped it once it's my street/stunt bike and love on the streets going in the turns over all great bike so I think you'll like it on the track! I drove a friends 05 I think his was busted up it felt like ****, so can't say they all do maybe just his...
