I found a 58t 520 pitch Vortex sprocket (636) on eBay for $50 new in the package. So I buy it. I think wow now I got a deal on it and I wont have to wait 3 ******* months for it to be made..:YEAH

It shows up today....and well its new and in the package the bolt pattern is right for the 636 BUT.....its thicker that my stock 532 pitch R6 sprocket so its not a 520 or even close (I got a few 520's laying around).....

I looked on the Vortex website and they only sell 520 pitch for the 636. I cant find anyplace that sells 636 sprockets thicker than 525 so I cant even get a front to match this ******* thing

That's just the latest in a long line of B.S. that keeps happening to me as I build this bike....I'm starting to HATE my 636 and have not rode it for more that a test ride or 2 yet

my 05 has a 54t 530 vortex on it.

 

pitposse.com has 54t vortex sprockets for $56 shipped
I just bought one through them.

 

i thought the stock chain for an r6 was 525

 

OK we were both wrong.... its a 530 o-ring


but that 636 sprocket is still thicker by about 2mm

 

535 then

 

58t = too much.....

you will get the throttle control eventually ...and im not god but i can get him on the phone

no your bike just didn't have any throttle response....lol

 

**** i loved it.... all i had was +2 and i was hittin idle good...

now im havin to learn all over

 

it is easy to be smooth on the throttle with little to no gear
