when my bike bounces off rev limiter it puffs blue smoke. I know its not good but how bad is it??

it's just oil. Probably blow by through your valves or past your piston rings. Is it only when you bounce off your limiter?

 

Well ride it till it drops then put in that engine but id deffinitly buy that engine however once you do the one you have in there now will last forever.

Oil doesn't burn blue though...

 

ya anything above 14 grand for more than a split second but normal riding it dosnt bother. its got 22000 miles its only been stunted and a dd for about 7000 of those though...

 

oil does burn blue and water burns white

are you doin it when you wheelie? or just to **** ppl off at the red lights

 

first of all the nearest stop light is about a 45 min drive anyways it happens sometimes when i wheelie (i know, shift.) or if i just rev it up (dont do it) I Know how to aviod it but just wondering is it happens to anybody else.

 

no just balance...you should be way lower in the rpms when riding BP. but im not to good with mechanics. id say its getting to much oil but like i said im not good with that ****.

so why in gods name are you bouncing it off the rev limiter then? just stop doing it and problem solved. thats not healthy for your bike.

 

yea wtf... be easy on the engine.... and check ur oil might be too much... overdoin it
