Smile Finally felt the floating.

I have been workin' on getting down second gear standups a little lately. Today on my lunch I went out and rode for about 45 minutes.

I did a couple and holy ****!!!!! I felt the floating sensation. I only rode them for about 10 seconds, but it was the greatest feeling in the world.

So when you feel that floating, that is the balance point correct??? If so, I don't think I will ever forget where that spot is. It was like a dream.

Sorry I sound like a little kid in a candy store but it was exciting.

I hope to be workin' on that soon.

Just got to get comfortable with being that high up. I am still a virgin. That didn't sound right.

I just got over what I'm calling my "Fear of Heights" today. In the past month anytime I couldn't see the road I'd put it back down cause it felt too high. Finally today I brought it up and just kept it there.

Only difference is I'm doing sitdowns. Are you clutching it up in 2nd? Cause that's how I'm doing them and I'm not quite sure how to go about standing. I can do standup power wheelies in 1st but when I try standing and clutching it in 2ndI feel like it's gonna throw me off. I'm working on standing once I get it up but it's a lil difficult... So how ya'll doin em?

I also need to start slowing em down a little. By the time I set it down I'm going anywhere from 75-90mph.

I am bouncing them up in 2nd. Still tryin' to figure out the clutchin' thing.

I last few that have been successful were pretty fast though. I start them at about 65 mph and set em down around 100mph. Once I can stay at the balance point I will try working on slowing them down. Not that far yet. Still a FNG.

ah, screw that! LoL
See that's why I'm clutching it...in 2nd I pull it up at 30mph.

I'm new too bro, only been riding a lil over a month. I'm not too worried about that though, everyone was a newb at one point. Keep posting feedback when you find things that work for ya.

I'm not breaking any records or anything but yeah I can roll em a little ways. Nothing like what some of these guys here are doing.

Well I'll be damned. I guess tonight was the 1st time I actually got it up to the BP. I brought it up quick and let off the gas cause it was what I usually consider "a little too high" and instead of dropping back down like it normaly does it just stayed up for a little while.

Of course my stupid *** forgot all about tapping the rear brake so I just rode it out for a few secs till it finally went down. Although now I can look back and say that was a badass feeling, at the time it was crazy.
