Thurs Oct 11th 9am UPDATE

From Duker...
Just got off the phone with Greg..... He said Ryan had a god night, resting pretty good due to the magic morphine button.... He has one more surgery thats gonna go down today to finish up the bottom of his left leg....... SO... If everything goes well today and tomorrow he will POSSIBLY be moved outta ICU and over to the Ortho department. I will have another update for everyone as soon as he comes outta surgery

 

Good gawd!!! This guy is recovering fast!!! Best wishes to Ryan and his friends and family. I'm sure it's also because of you guys that he is doing so well. Thanks for keeping everyone updated.

i read some of the story on how this occured. i saw he got hit by a car but was he stuntin? will he be able to sue the driver of the car? if so... can i borrow $50 until next week?? ....just playin, ryan. heal up, man.

NEW UPDATE!!!!!!!!!


3pm update- I'm sitting here in the waiting area at the hospital, and Ryan has just gone in for what is supposed to be his final surgery. The doctors said it should take an hour or two, and they are just gonna put the final touches on his leg. I saw Ryan for the first time today since his accident, and I can't believe how good he looks! He does recognize people, and is talking.........albeit slowly. He loves his morphine button! He is lacking a lot of short term memory, but that is supposed to be pretty normal, they say. His feeding tube is supposed to come out tomorrow, so he'll be chowing down before we know it! It felt good to hold his hand, and talk with him. You can tell there is the same old Ryan under all that sedation...........he even informed us that he had farted under the covers lol!

They did inform us that they won't be moving him out of the ICU just yet, cause they don't have any open rooms available at the moment. But, he will be moving as soon as a vacancy opens up. Everyone is in good spirits, and we look forward to seeing Ryan after surgery. I will update as soon as I know more! -Dan

This is the official heads up for anyone on the west coast that wants to do their part in helping Ryan out.......

I will be organizing a ride in SoCal to take place hopefully within the next month to benefit Ryan and help him with his medical bills. If anyone wants to help out get ahold of me but at least keep your eyes open for more details. This ride is gonna be huge! We need to show people how the west coast takes care of a fallen rider.

Ryan I hope you feel better soon.......heal up quick bro!

Ryan, wish the best to you. i got nailed by a car... left 2 baseball size holes in my knees worst time of my life. but the best feeling i ever had was to wheelie that piece of **** again. get back at it ASAP!!

 

Ryan is out if ICU as of Today.

Tony L saw ryan yesterday before he went home to florida. Ryan was talking **** to tony. telling the nurses that he taught tony how to ride and ****. lol Good ****. They said he needs some rest though. He was kinda in and out of everything.

Im going to see him first thing tomorrow morning. I will post updates tomorrow.
