db bar controll vers clipon control

i have been thinking lately that db bars might actuly be making a bike harder to ride for certin tricks. because your wait is so for on the out side of the bike and no centered. i have been thinking of geting clipons fliped up side down with a gpr dampner. for those who have this setup is it worth the switch.

i ran flipped vortex clip-ons and it was the worst for the first few days. i think i'd perfer 0 degree, but it makes stoppies feel better and spreaders way more comfy

sammy is home w/ a rod in his leg. he's cool though and he'll be back, we'll have him killin **** by next year.

Ed flipped a stoppie this past weekend too, he's a little messed up, shoulder is messed up but i think he'll be ok.

Yeah i know what you mean about being far away from the bike for certain stuff, just try different body positions for those tricks cause the benefits of DB's outweighs the few things it makes harder!

I have ridden with DB's three times now and i can do sooo much more with them... and i think riding lots is more fun with them... going for the stall/jump to 50/50 tonight! lol

I got one f4i with d bars and another f4i with the clipons turned out.
For the most part I prefer turned out clipons. I like them better partially because they're not as high, but mainly because they're so far forward.
The forwardness helps pretty much every wheelie in my opinion. It raises the center of gravity in the wheelie since the rider is farther forward, you already know how that makes circles easier to control. Its also alot more comfortable for tall people to do seat standers.
For stoppies I like the width and the 'farther away' feel of the dirt bike bars, just feels safer to me.
