Question Help: Throttle Question

I installed my tb big bore, I also have a BBR bar kit, i tried to use the BBR throttle and cable but i think the cable is too short, When i try to use the Tb cable it doesnt work right with the bbr throttle, WTF do i need to do?
i dont want to buy a new throttle but i think i might have too!
Anyone else had this problem? Any Advice?

u have to cut some of the black part off the throttle cable till its the right length.

good call fab....dunno wtf I didnt think about that...we did my buds bike tonight and had the exact problem.....tried 3 diff throttle tubes and cables... but good lookin out... we're gonna have this nailed tomorrow. :YEAH

not a prblem. its a real pain in the *** too. strip the black **** off with a knife, then unwind that coil around the cable till u get to the length u need and snip it. carefull not to damage the cable itself.

We have had the same problem with that crap... I don't know why they get the right size for the kit....

it would be impossible for the supplyer of the big bore kit to supply a cable that would work for every single throttle type out there. the answer to this would be for the people making the throttles to use standard length of cable for all different thottle types. but this obviously aint gonna happen either. so we have to deal with it and make the best with what we are given.

you can also make your own cables
thats what we do
old school stuff when you couldnt go out and buy a cable for the pile o chit you were building
motorcycle specialties will make one for you too
