905?

Anyone know if you will have to modify plastics on an 07 600rr to install 905 race rails?

just look at the front motor mout bolt. is it behind the plastics?

there is a very easy way to get the cut perfect.

take off side plastics. Use a laser level and put it in the center of the bolt hole. Then put the plastic back up and mark the whole. Cut it out with the right size hole bit and your golden.

How do you see a the lazer when its behind the plastics in the bolt hole?




All I ever did for them, was take the plastics off, let the bolt for the slider hang out of the engine, adn put the plastic back on and press it against the bolt so it leaves a mark

when you put the plastics back on the lazer will be on the plastic

you don't put the actualy laser POINTER IN The hole, you put it on like a counter or somthing AIMING at the mounting bolt??

The laser level makes it so easy to get a perfect hole. I have been doing that for years installing frame slider and cages.

Has anyone had issues with railz or cages just not fitting? I got some Powers Railz and I went to put em on last night and they dead set just dont fit

what are the holes not lined up? I would tell you to return it..... but with powers you will never get a new one.

I bent mine and made it fit. I have some rails coming tomorrow from 905 for the same bike they better ******* fit or ima going to be pissed

Yeah its a bit out of wack. I am just pissed because I was originally going to get some made up locally but I have had my bike pulled down for a rebuild so thought the time delay in getting it posted wouldnt be a problem... yeah right!
