reckless driving for doing a wheelie
reckless driving for doing a wheelie
I got pulled over for speeding and doing a wheelie. I live in Wisconsin has anyone ever gotten out of one before? I'm just looking for some advice.
Re: reckless driving for doing a wheelie
Yea i did, but im in AZ. But i was lucky it was truly my first night on my bike like 2 years ago, so i just said i let the clutch out to quick and had to prove to them that it was indeed my first night, just showed my registration which was dated the same day i got arrested and ticketed...What i would do it plead not guilty, get a public defender and try to plea bargain with them or whatever you have to do reckless driving is no joke bro thats a felony and if u get convicted good luck getting a job. So just see if u can do community service blah blah blah get it down to like speeding or improper lane change or some ****. Good Luck.
Re: reckless driving for doing a wheelie
Wisconsin is a bad place to get pulled over . It's like they look for people from Illinois to f*ck with
In Illinois , 31mph over the speed limit is considered "reckless" . Not sure if wheelies are .
Never got a reckless , but if i did , i would probably at least seek some lawyer advice .
Being a Wisconsin ticket , i'm sure the penelties will be stiffer . It also depends on your previous record . They will see your driving history .

Re: reckless driving for doing a wheelie
i got 6 months of court for that....judge wanted to put me in jail...bullshit! plus the cop over exaggerated it....i never stop ethier..but he nearly hit me then had a gun pointed at me....*****! wheelies r not a crime...unless u r dangerous w/ them!!! and if u r dangerous w/them...u shouldn't do them on the streets...
Re: reckless driving for doing a wheelie
In Missouri anything over 20 mph over is considered wreckless.
And that sucks about the six months of court and the possible jail time. I agree, cops need to not look at the fact that it's a wheelie, they should consider the ability of the person doing it. Wheelies are alright when you know what you are doing and are smart about when and where you do it.
